The terrific soccer summer is over and so is the successful ArchitekTOUR 2010 organized by Heinze GmbH. More than 300 architects took part in the events in the soccer stadiums in Berlin, Munich and Leverkusen. With talks by high-caliber speakers from science, practice and industry, this extraordinary tour was an exciting and informative event. The unusual supporting program was very well received. The impressive locations, exciting guided tours around soccer stadiums, as well as the relaxing table soccer tournaments after each event guaranteed that everybody was in high spirits, including the delegates, speakers and representatives from BRAAS, Vectorworks, danogips, Deutsche Steinzeug AGROB BUCHTAL, hansgrohe, HunterDouglas, isover, fermacell, nora, STIEBEL ELTRON, TRESPA and wavin.

From June 3 to 5, 2010, around 120 architects and guests spent three relaxed regatta days around the Scharmützelsee lake near Berlin. The BauNetz team and this year’s sponsors Trox, Schüco, Merten/Ritto, Velux, Ideal Standard and Blücher enjoyed the wonderful summer weather and a great mood aboard the Laser SB3 and at the subsequent social evening. Following the Architects’ Regatta, sailing in the BauNetz was again the center of attention: on the Audi press day during the Kieler Woche sailing event, there was an opportunity to spend a day with Germany’s best yachtsman, Jochen Schümann. BauNetz talked with him about his relationship with financial sponsors, participating in the Audi MedCup, his “signature” and the subject of complexity – questions that by BauNetz usually put to architects. Published for the first time and winning a prize right away!
